And So It Begins...

This has been a big year for me personally. Soon I will be saying "fare-thee-well" to my first 39 years. I have two children who started high school this year, which rebooted my prayer life somewhat. Yesterday was a big day for my son; he now has his first "girlfriend," a nice young girl from our youth group. I am happy for him, but at the same time, I don't want him to allow girls to do to him what they did to me. I am praying for him to be sure enough of who and Whose he is so as not to allow some girl to destroy his self-esteem or to put his heart in a blender and press "frappe."
I was proud to see him holding the door for his new friend and conducting himself like a gentleman. That he got from his Dad!

My oldest starts high school next year. Time passes so quickly, doesn't it? Citadel gave your Badgers a run for their money last Saturday, didn't they?

All the best, my Friend. Steve R

Keep him away from busdrivers. Just a thought.

And listen to Steve, almost talking smack like that :)

"Frappe." What a great word. You have a very nice turn of phrase in your blogosition (composition on blogs).
